JRC hosted a "Recognition Dinner" to special guests, Capital Campaign Committees, special honorees and donors and finally the past Executive Directors, Kathy Strong (1987 to 2010) and Tom Thompson (2010 - 2021), who laid the ground work for JRC to what has been achieved today.

A major donor, Dan Fonte, President of National Steelworkers Oldtimers Foundation was honored and spoke about his support for the JRC's mission and their dedication to seniors alligning their foundation with the seniors of the JRC Adult Day Center.

Ron Macala, the Interim Board President and Julie Abiecunas, CEO led the evening with a special resolution thanking the Major Gifts Committee who were at the helm during the entire Capital Campaign. Lead by Tom Venturella, the committee was made up of Brenda Basso, Bob Belden, Mike Flood, Kay Flood, Mike Gallina, Bill Kimball, Ron Macala, Ann Davies-Moyer, Liz Slesnick, Ginny Soldatis, Randy Snow, Tom Venturella, and Ruthanne Wilkof.

A special recognition to Karen Shackelford who was in attendance JRC wants to thank her for all her hard work and dedication to JRC as a volunteer, a Board Member and finally our former Development Director (retired). She was a major contributor in donor funding to complete the JRC Capital Campaign.

A wonderful evening of recognition, accomplishments, great food and holiday cheer! JRC celebrated in their new Myrna A. Pastore JRC Campus being so grateful for what was achieved!
