JRC’s Office Assistant, Tracy Pershing-Shaw at the JRC Learning Center tells a story of generosity….

“This afternoon, I took a call from a father of one of our preschool students. This child has attended the JRC Learning Center since infancy, and was in our EHS program prior to preschool. His father, DeShawn Jackson, called to ask if he could purchase and donate diapers and wipes to be passed out to our families in need.

He showed up a while later with so many diapers and wipes to be distributed. This purchase was a total of $150.00

I was awestruck at the generosity of this father to be looking out for other families who may be struggling .

My heart is so full at the moment.”        

What teaching moment for this child from a very generous parent!
